Free meal program for children ages 1 through 18: closed-enrolled sites
Summer food service program begins June 3 (Closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5)
The Sioux City Community School District is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 3, 2024, through August 2, 2024.
Meals are available Monday through Friday for all children ages 1-18 years without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Each child present, ages 1 through 18 years of age, will receive a lunch.
Serving sites and schedules include:
Sanford Center West, 1700 Geneva St., serving lunch 11 am - Noon | Snack from 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm (June 3 - August 2, 2024)
Sanford Center East, 6100 Morningside Ave., serving lunch 11 am - Noon | Snack from 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm (June 3 - August 2, 2024)
Salvation Army Day Camp, 1415 Villa Ave., serving Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 11 am - Noon | Snack from 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm (June 3 - July 26, 2024 only)
