Kindness Club
In elementary school, we begin to develop the passions of our students through extra-curricular activities. Our activities are developed based on parent involvement, staff support, student interest, and extending the school learning experience.
Students at Riverside can participate in the kindness club. Students in the kindness club meet monthly for an hour after school. Each month the students work on gratitude journals and set goals for themselves. Then, students participate in an activity that impacts either the greater school community or the Riverside community.
Examples of successful kindness club activities:
Students posted a positive sticky note on each locker in the building to brighten the days of peers.
Students painted kindness rocks and hid them throughout the Riverside community.
If you have an idea for a new extra-curricular activity you would like to develop in our school, please inquire with the principal.
